This meditative and timeless music puts all your senses on edge. ‘Canto Ostinato’ by Simeon ten Holt is a classical hit. For years, the piece has been in the top 10 of the annual Classical Top 400 on Radio 4 in the Netherlands.
Ten Holt originally wrote the piece for piano. Aart Bergwerff has now arranged the composition for organ and the voices of Wishful Singing, adding a whole new dimension to this world-famous work.
Reclining seats are available. Bring your own yoga mat, blankets and pillows.
Ticket price €27.50. The concert lasts about 70 minutes.

Canto Ostinato - often affectionately called ‘the Canto’ - is a meditative piece par excellence. No two performances are the same. The number of repetitions, the dynamics and the manner of playing are left to the composer's performer(s).
Aart Bergwerff is a versatile concert organist who likes to explore new ways and forms in organ culture. Wishful Singing consists of five classically trained singers with flawless voices.
Route and parking
Coming by train? The Grote Kerk Breda is a 10-minute walk from Breda railway station. The church is also easily accessible by bus. You can walk to us in a few minutes from the Karnemelkstraat or Oude Vest bus stops.
Coming by bike or moped? Then park in one of the free bicycle parking facilities. Improperly parked bicycles are regularly removed by the municipality.
