Concert Breda Jazz Festival

The gospel concert has been a regular feature of the programme since the first Breda Jazz Festival. Since 1971, the Grote Kerk Breda has been the venue for this concert, which has grown from an ecumenical service into a concert full of emotion that makes a profound impression on its many visitors every year. A concert you should get to early in all respects!
For this edition, the Breda Jazz Festival has pulled out all the stops; the Elijah Gospel Choir sings together with Denise Gordon. Denise has visited Breda before and we are proud to welcome her again. Johnny Boston and his Jazzuits are also featured. For those who regularly attend our gospel concerts, they too are no strangers. It promises to be a very special edition.
From 10.30 to 11.45 you can enjoy the Gospel concert in the church – please note: tickets are required for the concert.
Route and parking
Coming by train? The Grote Kerk Breda is a 10-minute walk from Breda railway station. The church is also easily accessible by bus. You can walk to us in a few minutes from the Karnemelkstraat or Vlaszak bus stops.
Coming by bike or moped? Then park in one of the free bicycle parking facilities. Improperly parked bicycles are regularly removed by the municipality.
Coming by car? The car parks De Prins and De Barones are closest to the Grote Kerk Breda. Click here for general information on parking in Breda.
