or many Breda residents, the Grote Kerk Breda is the beacon in the heart of the city. A centuries-old House of Stories that stands for connecting and coming together. The second month of the new year, this beautiful monument opens its doors for a special dinner.
In the church's atmospheric interior, enjoy a four-course pop-up dinner catered by Breda family business CuliNice. Part of the proceeds will go to the restoration of the monumental Hillen organ.

The Hillen organ is in respite. It is in poor condition and in danger of becoming unplayable if it is not restored soon. To restore the Hillen organ, €1.2 million is needed. Thanks to support from various funds and private donors, we have already secured a large part of that amount. Thanks to the Grote Kerk Breda dinners, you contribute to the future of this special instrument.
Route and parking
Coming by train? The Grote Kerk Breda is a 10-minute walk from Breda railway station. The church is also easily accessible by bus. You can walk to us in a few minutes from the Karnemelkstraat or Oude Vest bus stops.
Coming by bike or moped? Then park in one of the free bicycle parking facilities. Improperly parked bicycles are regularly removed by the municipality.
