There are many stories to discover in the Grote Kerk Breda. Have you ever looked down at the floor, or up? During the Christmas holidays, explore the Grote Kerk Breda with our new scavenger hunt with lights. Will you come by and giggle and be scared too?
The scavenger hunt is available at the reception desk for € 2.50 each - including a light (Dutch).
Good to know
Parents can join the treasure hunt, follow the free interactive tours or explore the church's collection with our free audio tour.
- Children aged +/- 4 - 10 creep and giggle through the monument with our latest treasure hunt
- Children aged +/- 4 - 8 look for knights and animals in the church
- Children aged 8 and over look for birds and plants
- Children from 10 years don't have to be bored either: for them there is an extensive puzzle trail
A visit to the Grote Kerk Breda is free of charge. Of course, a contribution is always much appreciated.

Route and parking
Coming by train? The Grote Kerk Breda is a 10-minute walk from Breda railway station. The church is also easily accessible by bus. You can walk to us in a few minutes from the Karnemelkstraat or Oude Vest bus stops.
Coming by bike or moped? Then park in one of the free bicycle parking facilities. Improperly parked bicycles are regularly removed by the municipality.
Coming by car? The car parks De Prins and De Barones are closest to the Grote Kerk Breda. Click here for general information on parking in Breda.
